If Coorg Public School attracts students from all over the country and abroad today, the above facts stand vindicated both in letter and spirit. In the nineties of the last century, a good school was a long felt need in Coorg. When everyone was still feeling this need, five visionaries of Coorg embarked on a mission of establishing a school par excellence. Thus was born, the Kodagu Academy for Education and Culture, which has sponsored Coorg Public School (COPS) and Coorg Pre-University College. Today this brainchild of these visionaries, has grown leaps and bounds, beyond imagination.
