In COPS, physical training is not meant to be just a trial of strength. It aims at giving the students an alertness of mind, a sense of co-ordination and a disciplined character.

Sports facilities have been planned with exacting attention to detail. These include swimming, team sports and athletics. The campus provides sprawling practice fields for football, hockey and cricket. Besides, basket ball, volley ball, throw ball and badminton courts are also available. The school has a vast play ground with a good 400 m track. Indoor games such as table tennis, carrom and chess are available.

The school participates at local and state level competitions and has an enviable record of distinction at every level.
