The Principal Prof.M.D.Nanjunda is a National
Awardee. He was conferred the National Award2005 by the President of India Dr.A.P.J.Abdul
Kalam, in recognition of his
outstanding
contribution in the field of education.
Prof.M.D.Nanjunda is a brilliant academician and a gifted teacher. He has diverse academic accomplishments as he holds M.A.,
B.Ed., B.P.Ed., and L.L.B. degrees. He served in MGM College, Udupi as a Professor for more than 20 years. He is the founder Principal of Sharada Residential School,
Udupi, sponsored by Dr.T.M.A.Pai Foundation, Manipal. He has also worked abroad for 2 years. Now he is the founder Principal of Coorg Public School,
Gonikoppal. In recognition of his selfless service in the field of education, the Academy of General Education,
Manipal, conferred on him the honorary fellowship, during its Golden Jubilee Celebrations. He has won the outstanding State President of India award as the President of Karnataka State Junior Chamber and also the Outstanding National Trainer Award. He is a trainer in individual development programmes and has conducted over 700 training programmes for various target groups. He is an adviser to many residential schools in Karnataka.
MOTTO AND OBJECTIVES
COPS doesn’t just believe in being yet another school. With the world scenario changing drastically, children who are just academically good or even the best, cannot survive the rat race for world class institutions. Today’s world is ruled by smart people. To prepare such a class of citizens, we have a task cut out and that’s why our motto is

Obviously, our motto spells out our objectives.

· They should have practical knowledge of facing stiff competitions.
· They shouldn’t have inhibitions to open up their treasure of talents.
· They should plunge into crisis fearlessly – develop abilities of crisis management by taking
appropriate decisions.
· They should learn protocols of public life and functions.
· They should lead juniors and peers with energy and drive. The aim is to create LEADERS,
par excellence.
· They should yet remain humble and sensitive to the needs of the society. ·CONFIDENCE
should be their watchword.
