ADMISSION

The prospectus and the application form may be
obtained from the office by paying Rs.200/- or by sending a DD for
Rs.300/-
drawn In favour of Coorg Public School, Gonikoppal. The registration form
duly filled in, should be returned to the office with a registration
fee (non-refundable) of Rs.1000/- (Rs. 2000/- for NRIs) to be paid in cash or by
sending a bank draft. The registration does not guarantee admission. One may register at
any time. All
those who have registered are called (generally during second week of
April) to take the entrance test. We may also conduct
entrance test abroad if sufficient number if students make
registration.

The test will be in
General Mathematics, Reasoning, English and Kannada or Hindi. Admissions
are made strictly on the basis of the performance in the entrance test.
The parents are informed about the selection of the child. The Principal
reserves the right to admit or reject any application for admission
without assigning any reason. Admission for I PUC (XI) will be based on
the performance in Std. X board examination.

Every parent seeking admission for his/her child should produce the
following: |
1. Transfer
certificate from the previous school, counter signed by the education
officer.
2. Marks card of the last examination from the previous school.
3. Conduct Certificate from the previous school.
4. Passport size photographs 6.
5. Caste Certificate (if claimed).
6. Birth Certificate (original) for admission to Std I.
7. Eligibility Certificate and Migration Certificate: only for ICSE, CBSE,
NRI and foreign students joining
PUC (plus two).. |

ADVANCE
REGISTRATION Parents
may register 5 years in advance for admission by paying
Rs.1000/-. Such parents will be on the mailing list of the
school and they will get all communications from the school.
Admissions will be made, through an entrance test, subject to
the availability of the seats in that academic year. Advance
Registration of a child for admission does not guarantee
his/her admission. Registration fee is not refundable.
